General Questions
Answers to the main questions about the legal practice, cooperation format, and Ukrainian law services
Which jurisdiction or law do you work with?
I work exclusively with Ukrainian law in accordance with my status as a Foreign Legal Consultant, certified by the Supreme Court of Florida. All consultations and legal assistance relate only to the laws of Ukraine. I do not provide advice on U.S. law or the law of any other foreign jurisdiction.
How is a Foreign Legal Consultant different from a U.S. attorney?
A Foreign Legal Consultant (FLC) is authorized to advise only on the law of the country in which they are licensed-in my case, Ukrainian law. I am not a U.S. attorney, I do not represent clients in U.S. courts, and I do not provide advice on U.S. law. At the same time, as a Ukrainian attorney, I assist clients residing in the U.S. or abroad with Ukrainian legal matters.
Can I contact you if I live abroad but have legal matters in Ukraine?
Yes. Your place of residence does not limit the possibility of receiving assistance with matters governed by Ukrainian law. Most clients contact me remotely.
Clients typically seek help with:
• inheritance matters;
• family law issues;
• property and corporate matters;
• court proceedings;
• preparation of required documents under Ukrainian law.
Are online consultations available, and how does the cooperation process work?
Yes, consultations are conducted online. The and preparation for the consultation. We agree on the scope of work, the cooperation format, and the cost of services. I conduct the consultation, prepare documents, or provide legal support in accordance with Ukrainian law. You receive the results remotely without the need to travel to Ukraine.
What is the cost of a consultation and legal services?
The cost depends on the nature of the matter and the scope of work involved. Before we begin, you receive a clear and transparent fee estimate, with no hidden charges. Consultations on Ukrainian law are paid, as they include document review and preparation of practical recommendations.
How long does it take to resolve my matter?
Timeframes depend on the complexity of the case, availability of documents, and required procedures in Ukraine. After an initial review, I determine realistic time estimates for each stage.
Can you represent me in a Ukrainian court remotely?
Yes. As a Ukrainian attorney, I can represent you in Ukrainian courts without your physical presence. This includes preparing documents, submitting motions, and participating in court hearings.
Do you guarantee an outcome in a legal matter?
No. No attorney can guarantee a specific outcome, as decisions are made by state authorities or the court.
However, I guarantee:
• a professional review of your case;
• an honest assessment of the prospects;
• development of a legal strategy;
• full support in accordance with Ukrainian law.
